About Kristopher
USA Archery Level 3 NTS Coach, and Level 2 Instructor Trainer

I provide personal individual and small group/family lessons to ages 6 through adult from experience levels of beginner through intermediate and competitive archers. I love sharing archery as a sport, a practical skill, and a fun recreational activity, and helping people build and refine their skills or explore different types of archery. Personally, I have come to appreciate the art of archery as an active, standing form of meditation. Archery builds focus and mental discipline through attention to the body and process while being free from distractions and attachment to outcomes.
I can also provide training and certification for you or your group to become USA Archery Level 1 or 2 certified instructors for youth archery instruction programs such as camps or parks and rec staff.
I have worked leading and developing Bwana Archery JOAD, Explore, and Adult archery programs since 2018 and Minnetonka Community Education recreation and competition archery programs since 2022.

We'll start with an inital discussion via phone or web meeting to discuss your interests, experience, and goals, then arrange a first lesson in person at either local public outdoor or indoor range or private property as local ordinances may permit.
For beginners, the first lesson will always establish eye-dominance, cover basic safety, and familiarization with the USA Archery 11 step National Training System as a framework starting with a strech-band and then applying the process to shooting a bow.

Details
$40/hr for individual lessons for instruction.
$8/hr for each additional person up to 8 total for small groups.
First lesson is always 1.5 hrs at no additional cost for the additional half hour.
Range or equipment rental to be covered by student if required.
