About Rossa

I am a mathematics and science enthusiast who has always excelled in academics. Sadly, I believe that the teaching approach of many school teachers is fundamentally flawed, especially in mathematics. From my personal experience, it is common for maths to be taught as a plethora of tricks and formulas to be mindlessly applied to specific problems. However, it is only by developing a core understanding of what exactly these formulas mean, that a student can truly excel. By doing this, maths becomes easy, and far more enjoyable to both learn and teach. Thus, grades skyrocket, and a real passion for mathematics grows. This is my chosen method of teaching, and I am certain that it is the most efficient of all.

About the lesson

As I achieved a perfect grade in my subjects of choice, and have continued to study highly related topics through college, I consider myself very highly qualified to apply my knowledge to teaching others. I implement a "from basics" approach in my lessons, whereby I help my student develop their fundamental understanding of the subject. However, the pace of the lessons can be freely adjusted according to the ability and learning speed of the individual. I have over 3 years of experience as a tutor.
