About Kaylea
I know how hard it was as a high schooler worrying about your future. What college am I gonna go to? Do I have good enough grades? How much money is it going to cost? I remember that being able to get a good score on my ACT was one thing that helped ease my anxiety about all these things.
I took the test multiple times, and because of this, I have learned the best strategies to take the test and best ways to prepare. I am also a college student, so taking the ACT wasn't that long ago for me. I think it helps to learn from someone who has recently taken it and understands how to translate that into easy to understand terms for current high school students.
I took the ACT more than 3 times and each time received higher scores than the last, finishing with an overall score of 32 and superscore of 34. Even though I did not continue in order to get a perfect score, I believe that I learned in these experiences what it takes to get that 36.

I enjoy being able to help a student succeed in taking this test because I know that it helps alleviate stress and pressure in regards to college applications and finances when thinking about attending university. I also enjoy working with students who seek to become the best they can possibly be. I feel that by helping them accomplish this, they are able to approach higher education as the next step toward their personal best.

After meeting with the student for the first time to get to know one another, I will give them a practice ACT for them to complete with me there so both the student and I know what needs to be focused on when studying. Next, I will identify the trouble spots and go through any concepts needed revisiting.
