About Henley

Hello! My names Henley and im currently in a indie-rock band under the name OuterEdge and i'm moving from Florida to Brooklyn in effort to further my music career. Music is my passion and it is in my everyday life. I want to share the skill and passion with my students and help them achieve any goal they strive for.

A little about me:

I've been a musician since i was 3 years old, learning drums first, Piano, Guitar and then Bass guitar. I went to a magnet school for Jazz and Classical guitar. I have been the bass player for many bands including my own band (OuterEdge) for 6+ years. I write and compose my own music and have recorded 2 EP's with two different studios; Black Bird Studios in Nashville TN, and Martell Studios in jacksonville FL.

I'm eager to help you learn about the fundamentals and basics of music and why it's so important to discover. Learning to play is a great outlet for many reasons including the main purpose of expressing your self.

I got started teaching from being in close relations to a music school here in Florida called Schroeders School of Music. I've worked with his students on a proffesional and non-professional level.

I have Jazz and Classical education from Middle/High school and some private training i've had with music theory.

About the lesson

Itroducing myself and getting to know them a little more than the average joe. I like to have a good understanding of what they already know and what their or their parents expectations are.
