About Dina
Art is a way to heal yourself, and as someone who has been through a lot of tough times and physical limitations, I’d love to help you heal with art too and learn to accommodate your own needs.
I use professional grade materials that will last several lifetimes, and have a lot of knowledge on the impact of the different materials you can use to help you choose what’s right for you.
At the end of the day, my goal is to help you get where you want to go - be that learning for fun, for family activity, or even to become a professional artist yourself. You set the agenda and I’ll help you get there.
I love everything about making and teaching art! Making art is so freeing and allows me to express how I feel, unburdened. It takes me away to another world of color and texture, freeing me of worry. And teaching art? There’s nothing better than sharing those wonderful feelings you get from creating your own masterpieces.
I have a year and a half of experience being a teaching assistant and loved it. Now that I’ve dedicated my time to art professionally, I get to experience that excitement of sharing knowledge with others once again.
I am self-taught, although I have taken classes at a local college to learn new techniques. I have a lot of experience through my own trial and error that allows me to impart practical knowledge.

First, I would get to know a bit about the student’s goals and motivation for taking a class, and I would make sure my lessons cover their needs.
Then, I would explain some basics and what the lesson plan is before we go ahead and learn by doing! It’s very important to me that my students feel like they are free to explore a variety of different ways to do things.
Make sure the person you are hiring has good knowledge of the different materials and processes to produce quality work that will last. Too many ingredients currently being used are low quality and will result in Art that will peel right off the canvas in a couple of years, or ingredients that are not genuine
I displayed my art and jewelry at the Paint my Meditation January event in Seattle at The Collective where I met a lot of amazing local artists and business decision makers. The event was dedicated to autism and included sponsored autistic artists.

My classes are 2 hours long, and cost $100 for up to two people. I provide all the materials you’ll be using so all you have to do is show up and have fun.
