About Nema

I love teaching because I genuinely enjoy working with people and helping them learn. Throughout my career, I have trained people on computer systems, insurance products, quality assurance and customer service excellence.

I really enjoyed seeing new employees start off unsure or unfamiliar with something, and then watching their confidence grow as they learned and became good at what they were doing.

I get a lot of satisfaction from seeing people learn, improve and flourish, and that is something I will bring into my English lessons.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is practical, and centred around the learner. I find out what the student wants to achieve and then adapt the lesson to their level, interests and goals. I believe students learn best when they have the opportunity to speak, ask questions and practise English in situations that are relevant to their everyday lives.

My professional background in training and facilitation has taught me how to explain information clearly, work with people at different levels of understanding and encourage learners to put what they learn into practice. I use conversation, real-life situations, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and repetition to help students improve their English and become more confident communicators.

I teach in English and can work with learners from different language backgrounds. My lessons are suitable for beginners through to advanced learners, including children, teenagers and adults. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, prepare for work, travel, school or simply become more confident speaking English, I will adapt the lessons to your needs.

A typical lesson includes conversation, a specific learning focus, practical examples and plenty of opportunity for the student to practise. I give helpful corrections and explanations while keeping the lesson focused on communication and progress.
