About Rachel
I’m an experienced, qualified teacher with 9 years of classroom experience, alongside additional experience in exam marking and assessment. I’m passionate about Psychology and genuinely enjoy helping students develop their understanding of the subject. I particularly love seeing students build their confidence, overcome areas they find challenging and realise that they are capable of achieving more than they thought. I’m offering tutoring because I’d like to use my experience to provide students with the individual support and encouragement that can make such a difference to their progress.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, with a particular focus on AQA Psychology. Whether they need help building confidence, strengthening their understanding of a topic or preparing for exams, I provide supportive and personalised tuition.
I take an encouraging approach, breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps and giving students plenty of opportunities to practise and apply what they have learned.
For exam preparation, I can support students with research methods, application and evaluation skills, as well as developing effective exam technique. We can work on understanding exactly what exam questions are asking, structuring strong answers and identifying how to gain the marks available.
As an experienced teacher with 9 years of classroom experience, I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to suit the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
My aim is for students to leave each lesson feeling more confident, clearer about what they are doing, and knowing exactly what they need to work on next.
