About Nora
I received my Master's degree in English literature in 2018. I have been teaching English and ESL for 6 years to students at varied levels and educational backgrounds: from high school (Trafalgar School for Girls), to CEGEP (Dawson College) and university students (McGill University).

My teaching methods are based on a three-part structure: speak, read, write, which I became familiar with while tutoring at Dawson college. In my lessons, I devote time to each of these competencies, depending on the student's needs. This means that each task a student is asked to do will have them develop those three competencies: for example, a student is asked to read a passage, summarize it, and then explain it verbally to ensure comprehension and to develop writing and oral skills. This method has been found by educators at colleges to work very well for students at all levels.
