About Samidha
I am an Indian Classical Sitar performer and educator with over 15 years of experience in performance, teaching, and research. My work focuses primarily on concert presentation, raga interpretation, and expressive musicianship rooted in tradition. I have performed across national and international platforms, engaging diverse audiences through solo and collaborative performances. Alongside performance, I engage in research exploring music, culture, and identity, enriching my teaching and artistic practice. My approach integrates rigorous training, aesthetic sensitivity, and stage experience, guiding students and listeners toward a deeper understanding of Indian Classical Music and the expressive possibilities of the sitar.
