About Jo
My name is Jo and I work as a German and French tutor in the Hornchurch area as well as online. I am a qualified teacher (I have a PGCE and a degree in French and German) with 20 years of teaching experience in secondary schools and I have also been tutoring for the last 15 years. I have a lot of experience preparing students for their A level and GCSE exams with very high levels of success and I am very familiar with the specifications for different exam boards. As a tutor, I have taught ages 8-80 for exams, work, leisure and fun! I am passionate about languages, love working with people of all ages and thoroughly enjoy my job. I very much look forward to hearing from you.

Jo is a very patient & encouraging teacher, which is an asset when teaching a teenager! My daughter is getting on very well with her extra GCSE lessons. I thoroughly recommended using Jo.
Over the last two years my child's French result has improved by two grades under Jo's tution. She has always been friendly and reliable and I would highly recommend her.
