About Anjali

The past twenty years I have worked as a strategy academic and Associate Professor in Strategy as well as an MBA Director in various universities. My passion to teach led me in this direction after working for a number of years in investment banking following graduating from the LSE. I also have an MBA and PhD and am always keen to advise students on how to link their studies to their career and professional aims where needed. I have extensive experience of teaching and am always happy to explore how I can help students in strategy and the wider management field including in relation to their research projects. Currently, I am embarking on my own entrepreneurial journey advising startups on strategy.

About the lesson

I have over 20 years' experience teaching strategy and other management-related subjects at all levels, both online and in the classroom. Firstly, my approach is on getting to know my students well and understanding their needs and goals. My approach is essentially Socratic with the emphasis on guiding the student through questions to find answers to ensure depth of understanding. I also focus on how to structure answers, whether it be essay-type questions or case analysis, as good structure is essential for achieving the best grade outcomes.

Anjali has a wonderful ability to explain complex concepts in easy to digest examples that build understanding and confidence quickly and create enjovment for the subiect. She provided extra maths tuition for our son during his 11+ preparation - he quickly came to master new techniques and through her encouragement and patience he learned to be comfortable with experimenting and showing his thinking logic which was the breakthrough he needed to succeed at a higher level. I couldn't recommend Anjali more highly.
