About Marilyn
With several years of experience as a performer and several more years as a student, I've found so much joy in playing the violin! My school has one of the best orchestral programs in the area, and I've been so lucky to be a part of several musical extracurriculars that make me a well-rounded tutor.

I have been taking private violin lessons for as long as I can remember! My lessons have brought me state-level orchestral and solo performance awards, and they have been an integral part of my childhood. I'm excited to flip the roles and teach a beginner! My lessons will be taking each student through the beginning Suzuki books to gauge their level of expertise. We will set weekly "assignments" for the student to work on and bring back the next session. These lessons are meant for raw beginners or close to it-- including children or anyone interested in picking up a new skill.
