About Colette
My teaching approach focuses on celebrating small wins and building lasting habits that make practice joyful. I design vocal warm-ups and daily drills tailored to each student’s needs, helping develop consistency, strength, and control. We track notes carefully and explore lyric analysis to deepen both technique and musical understanding.

I am a passionate singing tutor with 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music, specialising in Voice. I am dedicated to helping students build strong vocal foundations, essential for vocal exams, diplomas, and conservatory auditions. My teaching spans a variety of genres, including Classical, Opera, Art Song, and Contemporary Vocal music.
I take a structured approach to every lesson, focusing on tone placement and resonance control to cultivate a healthy, expressive sound. IPA diction training is a key part of my method, ensuring clarity, precision, and stylistic authenticity. Phrasing and musical interpretation are emphasised to help students convey emotion and connect deeply with their repertoire.
Each lesson is carefully designed to balance technical exercises with expressive singing. I aim to foster both discipline and creativity, guiding students to reach their full potential. Whether you are preparing for exams or refining your performance skills, my coaching is tailored to your individual goals.
