About Bethany
After achieving my Psychology degree in 2016 (specialised in Mental Health), I began to pursue my career in education, particularly in the SEN sector. I now have 4 years experience in working with a range of pupils in regards to age & ability. I volunteered for an SEN Summer school programme in Romania. I then began working at a Referral Unit with children with emotional, social and behavioural issues. Here I worked with a substantial amount of pupils with SEN needs & diagnosis - ASD, ADHD, PDA, Sensory disorders & more. I've also spent time assisting at a school for pupils with Autism. I currently work as a 1-to-1 SEN teaching assistant.
I am highly passionate and dedicated to not only children's academic process but emotional, physical and social well-being and their confidence and comfortability in daily life.

- chunking' lessons so they are more easily remembered
- ensuring activities are engaging and fun whilst successful in progression
- variety of learning resources implemented: worksheets, games, physical, digital, discussion-based to find the best learning style.
