About Nicola
I am a hard working mum of 2, with a passion for teaching SEN/SEND children and young adults. I started out as a Drama teacher in mainstream secondary schools. After 8 years on and off, I found myself Head of Drama in a school for visually impaired (and other learning needs) students. I found my passion here, with young people who have complex needs and need better support and understanding in their education journey. I have now spent the last 6 years teaching a range of subject to students between 12 and 22 who have visual impairment and other complex needs, such as autism, ADHD, and other physical disabilities.
I am passionate about ensuring that ALL young people have the right to an accessible Education.
