About Alpi

I am a passionate and approachable tutor with a strong academic background in Pharmacy and several years of experience in science-related subjects. I enjoy helping students understand concepts clearly rather than simply memorising them.

I teach Biology, Chemistry, General Science and Pharmacy subjects to students at different levels, including GCSE, Scottish Higher and A-Level. I adapt my teaching style according to each student’s needs, learning pace and academic goals.

My lessons are interactive, well-structured and focused on building both knowledge and confidence. I use simple explanations, real-life examples, practice questions and exam-focused techniques to make difficult topics easier to understand.

Whether you need help with a particular topic, exam preparation, homework or want to improve your overall understanding, I am happy to support you. My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely and make steady progress.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, concept-based, and exam-oriented. I focus on building a strong foundation by explaining core concepts in a simple and structured way, using diagrams, flowcharts, real-life examples, and mnemonics where helpful. I adapt my teaching style according to the student’s level, learning speed, and academic goals. Regular questioning, short assessments, and revision sessions are used to ensure proper understanding and retention.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes, which includes concept explanation, discussion, and problem-solving or revision. Longer or shorter sessions can be arranged based on the student’s needs.

I hold a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) degree from India, with strong academic training in subjects such as Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and related pharmacy subjects. My background allows me to explain both theoretical concepts and their practical/clinical relevance clearly.

My lessons are suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students, as well as B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and diploma students who need academic support, exam preparation, or concept clarification. I also welcome students who feel weak in basics and want step-by-step guidance in a supportive learning environment.
