About Harriet
I have been playing the saxophone since i was 7 years old ( over 20 years). I have obtained grade 8 on the alto saxophone and grade 5 music theory. I currently teach music at a north London secondary school and specialise in jazz and blues. Music is my passion and I truly love witnessing the impact it can have on my students.

As an experienced saxophone tutor, I have successfully got my students to reach their personal goals as saxophonists.
Your learning journey is dependent on your goals. If you are learning for fun, it is important that you explore the style of music you enjoy listening to. My learning style is synoptic, meaning that you will learn the fundamentals of music theory whilst progressing through various exciting pieces of music.
If you wish to take a more rigorous graded approach to your learning, we will choose a syllabus that best suits your music taste and strengths. We will then work through the specification to fully prepare you to take your desired graded examination.
