About Fathurrahman

I am a dedicated Quran and Islamic Studies tutor with extensive experience teaching both children and adults. My educational background is rooted in formal Islamic education from childhood through junior high school, complemented by ongoing advanced studies in Fiqh, Sirah Nabawiyah, Lughoh Arabiyyah, Tafsir, Tahsin, and Tahfidz Quran through an exclusive scholarship program in Indonesia (Beasiswa Lembaga Pendidikan Insani)

Having completed an academic exchange at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and currently finishing my Management degree at Universitas Brawijaya (UB), I bring a structured and culturally adaptive approach to learning process. To deliver the best learning experience, I collaborate with a specialized team of learning analysts who support behind the scenes by tracking student development and preparing tailored study resources. I keep my class fees accessible and affordable so more students can benefit from this structured approach.

Many of my students initially discovered me through Superprof, while others later came through personal recommendations and word of mouth. As a result, a significant part of my tutoring activity now takes place outside the platform. At my busiest period, I taught up to nine students concurrently. This experience has allowed me to work with learners from different age groups, backgrounds, and levels of Quranic and Islamic Studies proficiency.

About the lesson

To ensure every student receives attentive care, good progression, and consistent guidance, I will provide every student with a personalized Google Drive folder, supported by my learning team. This includes:
+ Gentle progress tracking after each session to appreciate every small improvement.
+ Clear and supportive notes on reading corrections.
+ Thoughtfully prepared study materials designed to help overcome specific learning difficulties without feeling overwhelmed.

Therefore, together in our sessions, we will humbly focus to improve you on:
1. Tajwid & Makhraj in both Tahsin and Tahfidz Quran accurately in accordance with Hafs 'an 'Ashim Qiroat.
2. Tahfidz (Quran Memorization) without stress using adaptive methods suited for individual
3. Islamic Studies modified with the needs for daily practical worship or exam preparation such as UPKK or Final School Exam

We have had 6 or more weeks worth of lessons 3 days a week, and I have learnt so much. I begin Quran lessons as a 20 year old because my Quran recitation wasn’t good enough and I was making many mistakes. And as not having as much Quran knowledge as I would have liked, I am happy to say I found the perfect teacher because I have learnt so much.

Fathurrahman took his time in making files online to help me learn quicker, we started with the basics to help me and it’s helped so much. When I make mistakes he never gets mad or upset he will always calmly explain what I did wrong and how to properly recite Quran.
