About Jackie

I am a qualified social worker with over 12 years of experience in social work where I have been privileged to support many children, families and professionals in front line social work roles. I am also a Practice Educator for social work students and apprentices, mentor for trainee Practice Educators, ASYE moderator, reflective practice supervisor, facilitator for practice learning and a trainee coach. My strengths include person-centred relationship-based practice developed through value-driven curiosity that supports learners to develop a resilient sense of self and professional identity to empower their social work practice. I have experience of supporting a diversity of people with their individual learning needs. I offer a friendly space to learn, think critically, reflect, challenge and be creative.

About the lesson

I provide bespoke tutoring, mentoring and coaching online for social work learners, including people preparing for a social work career, students, apprentices, practice educator trainees, CPD learning, newly qualified social workers, international social workers, social workers returning to practice and anyone needing some additional support. Tutoring is based on your needs. I can help with preparation for assignments, developing skills, proofreading, reflective practice, linking theory to practice, developing critical analysis, sign-posting to resources. Additionally, I offer mentoring and coaching for the development of practice skills, career development, employment preparation and applications, creation of personal statements, self-care and resilience, preparing for practice placements and transitioning to new roles.
