About Mel
I’ve been a SENCo for over 6 years at a mainstream primary and I have seen the changes happen across education that have impacted children with neurodiverse needs and the anxiety school can cause. I have a calm approach to teaching, finding it important to teach at the individual's own pace which can be tricky within a whole school classroom. I will use your unique interests to help get you engaged in learning and progress in a way that suits you and your learning style.

Lessons planned for children of primary school age, from 5 years to 11 years, with a range of neurodiverse needs. Social and communication skills are planned too as well as academic needs. Lessons average 30 minutes but I understand the child’s need for regular brain breaks, if needed.
