About Maya
With a first class degree in Psychology (BSc), as well as an A* in psychology A-level, I am passionate about helping students find a love for the subject and reach their maximum academic potential. I am a knowledgeable, friendly and fun tutor with over 2-years of experience and I look forward to helping you in your studies.

I take a welcoming and open approach to all of my lessons. I believe that every student has a preferred learning style and as a teacher I adapt my lessons to the needs of the student. I like to take a varied approach to my lessons, using visual, audible and memory training techniques, to boost engagement and foster better understanding of each topic.
As an experienced tutor as well as a former Psychology A-level and bachelors student, I understand the challenges and stressors that students can face. As a tutor I strive to take away some of the stress and pressure of exams, helping you get to grips with the course material, equipping you with tips and tricks for the exam and providing expert proof reading of your coursework.
