About Acelz

I am a Psychology Lecturer who is passionate about helping students truly understand Psychology and achieve their academic goals. With a Bachelor of Psychology (First Class Honors), a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience, and experience teaching Psychology at university level, I have developed strong knowledge and expertise across different areas of Psychology.

As an educator, my goal is not only to help students score better, but also to help them build confidence, think critically, and enjoy the learning process. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching approach based on each student's needs, learning style, and goals.

As an ENFJ personality type, I naturally enjoy supporting, encouraging, and guiding others. Seeing my students improve, overcome challenges, and achieve something they once thought was difficult is what motivates me as a teacher. I am friendly, approachable, and supportive, while maintaining a professional and structured learning environment.

One of my strengths is explaining complex psychological concepts in a simple and relatable way. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, and step-by-step guidance to help students understand difficult theories and apply their knowledge effectively.

About the lesson

I teach students from Foundation, A-Level, Bachelor/Degree, and Master’s levels, with lessons tailored to their academic goals.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand Psychology deeply rather than memorize information. I use a coaching-based approach to guide students in developing critical thinking, applying theories to real-life examples, and becoming independent learners.

My lessons include:
Concept teaching: Explaining psychological theories, models, and research findings clearly.
Assignment guidance: Helping students understand requirements, improve academic writing, and strengthen their arguments.
Exam preparation: Providing revision strategies, exam techniques, and practice to improve performance.

Each lesson is typically 1.5 hours or longer, depending on the student’s needs and goals.
