About Steffan
I have taught at the Yehudi Menuhin School and at several leading international conservatoires, including the Royal Academy of Music, Sibelius Academy, Royal College of Music, giving masterclasses alongside regular teaching. Alongside this, I maintain an international career as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral principal, regularly appearing as a guest principal with all major London Orchestras. I hope to bring practical performance experience into my teaching.

Having gained teaching experience across all ages, my cello lessons focus on building a reliable technique, a flexible, individual sound, and deep musical understanding. I work with students to develop efficient practice habits, stylistic awareness, and confidence in performance, auditions, and ensemble playing.
