About Devin
I am a professional electric/upright bass & cello player that works in a variety of styles ranging from jazz, classical, folk, R&B, hip-hop, rock, funk, soul, experimental, and much more. Beginning to professionally gig at 14 years old, I later graduated from California Institute of the Arts. I have worked in major studios including Capitol Records and Carbonite Sound, along with a variety of venues and festivals. I always appreciate sharing my love of music with others!

My priority is to meet the student at their level, discover their goals with music, and then develop lessons that meet those needs. I'm all about communication and presenting concepts in a relatable manner, and most of all having fun! I can teach electric bass, double bass, cello, composition, improvisation, music theory, experimental sounds, and much more!
