About Ben
Advanced Diploma of Justice
Bachelor of Laws (Deakin University)
Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (College of Law)
Ben was admitted to practice in 2019 and joined Stary Norton Halphen in 2021.
He has completed an Advanced Diploma of Justice and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University. Further, Ben also obtained a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.
Prior to admission, Ben has completed placements with the Magistrates Court of Victoria, Australian Building and Construction Commission and has been employed as a Law Clerk in criminal law and VOCAT.
He is the founding member of the Criminal Defence Lawyers Network Victoria and is also a member of Liberty Victoria, Australian Lawyers for Human Rights and the Criminal Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria.
Ben has completed studies abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina on the topic of ‘International Human Rights Law’ and is also a volunteer facilitator with ‘Mr Perfect’, a mental health organisation which runs events with the aim to increase connection in the community.

I provide easy to understand and pragmatic lessons and can tailor to your level of understanding. I can provide lessons to Year 12 students and university students in the areas of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Ethics and Evidence.
