About Teresa
I am an experienced Piano tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, helping school students, college students, and working professionals develop their musical skills with confidence. Over the years, I have successfully taught 300–350 students with different learning goals, from beginners to advanced learners. My lessons focus on building strong fundamentals in piano techniques, finger exercises, music theory, sight reading, rhythm, ear training, and performance skills. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to suit their pace and goals. My aim is to make learning enjoyable, build confidence, and help students achieve steady progress while developing a lifelong love for music.

My teaching approach is based on helping students build strong piano skills in a supportive and structured learning environment. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to match their age, experience, goals, and learning pace. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, I create lessons that help you grow with confidence.
Adaptability is an important part of my teaching. I adjust my methods based on each student's strengths and areas for improvement. I also believe in collaboration, where students actively participate in the learning process by asking questions, sharing their goals, and working together to overcome challenges. This creates an enjoyable and motivating learning experience.
My lessons cover piano techniques, finger exercises, posture, hand coordination, scales, chords, arpeggios, sight reading, ear training, rhythm, music theory, improvisation, accompaniment, classical piano, contemporary piano, and performance skills. Students also learn how to interpret music with expression, improve timing, and develop confidence while performing.
Integrity is at the heart of my teaching. I provide honest feedback, encourage consistent practice, and celebrate every improvement, no matter how small. I focus on building strong musical foundations rather than rushing through lessons.
I use practical exercises, familiar songs, and step-by-step guidance to make learning easy and enjoyable. Regular practice tasks and progress reviews help students stay motivated and continue improving. My goal is to help students become confident pianists who not only play well but also understand and enjoy music for a lifetime.
