About Audrey
I have over 9 years of experience teaching piano and hold an Associate of Music in Piano Skills. I enjoy helping students prepare for church worship leading, community theater performances, and professional wedding band performances. Every student receives lessons that match their goals and experience.
My teaching style is encouraging, practical, and focused on steady improvement. I help students build confidence through real performance situations and simple practice strategies. One student who was nervous about accompanying a church choir became comfortable after practicing together each week.
I focus on building strong accompaniment skills, musical awareness, rhythm, and expressive playing. I also help students prepare for rehearsals, live performances, and unexpected musical situations. These experiences help them become reliable and confident musicians.
I believe learning should always feel motivating and rewarding. I enjoy celebrating every achievement, no matter how small. I would love to help you reach your musical goals and enjoy every step of your piano journey.

My piano lessons focus on helping students turn musical ideas into original compositions. I teach songwriting through simple methods that make creativity feel natural and enjoyable. We explore melody writing, harmony, musical themes, and creating memorable intros and outros.
I also cover chord progressions, accompaniment patterns, rhythmic ideas, improvisation, musical structure, and expressive playing. Every lesson is designed to help students organize their ideas into complete pieces. I once worked with a student who only played cover songs, and together we wrote their very first original piano composition.
I enjoy supporting learners who use music for personal growth and those who love exploring jazz. I encourage them to express their emotions while building strong compositional skills. This helps them create music that feels personal and meaningful.
Students learn how to develop simple ideas into complete musical themes. I provide practical exercises that improve creativity and confidence with every lesson. Small ideas often become memorable songs through regular practice.
My goal is to help every student enjoy the creative process without fear of making mistakes. Together, we will build original compositions with structure and imagination. You will compose your musical legacy.
