About Senna
I am a piano teacher with over 7 years of experience teaching students both online and in person. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a pedagogy focus. My teaching approach combines technique, musical understanding, and artistic expression.
A major part of my philosophy is building strong sight-reading and score analysis skills. Students learn how to interpret classical repertoire with confidence and musical insight. This helps them approach new music more independently.
Lessons are carefully adapted to each student’s abilities and goals. I include music theory, historical context, and technical finger exercises in the learning process. These tools strengthen both understanding and performance skills.
Period performance practices are also introduced when studying classical works. This helps students connect with the traditions behind the music.
I have taught students from beginner through advanced levels, including professional classical pianists. Each student receives thoughtful guidance and structured learning.
I believe piano study should inspire curiosity and artistic growth. Together we can explore the beauty and depth of piano literature.
