About Matthew
I'm Matt, I’ve been playing piano for over 30 years. I have been teaching for about 4 years. Really enjoy meeting new students and helping them develop their skills and knowledge. I'm happy teaching all ages and welcome those wanting to learn to pass exams or those who want to play as a hobby. Above all, I aim to make the lessons and learning process fun.

My lessons are very much structured around your desired outcome. If you want to learn piano and work your way through graded exams I will provide a traditional teaching methodology that will include reading music and preparation for exams. Equally, I'm happy providing a less formal approach that will get you familiar with the piano and how to play the chords and melodies to your favourite songs. Above all, I aim for all of my lessons to be fun and rewarding.
