About Willa
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 4 years of experience teaching students of all levels. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition, with a focus on piano. Beyond teaching, I compose and perform professionally, bringing practical experience to my lessons.
My teaching emphasizes music as a lifelong journey. I help students explore improvisation and spontaneous composition to create unique, original pieces. Lessons are tailored to each student’s skill level and goals, from beginners learning fundamentals to advanced musicians refining their creative voice.
I focus on building strong technique, musical understanding, and expressive performance skills. Students practice improvisation exercises, composition projects, and guided creative exploration. My goal is to help musicians feel confident, inspired, and independent.

My teaching style is centered on practical, modern piano techniques. I focus on pop piano, playing by ear, chord voicings, and arranging contemporary songs. Lessons are designed to help students perform the music they love.
I work with hobbyist adults and pop players, making lessons engaging and achievable. Students practice real songs, learn to identify chords, and play melodies without sheet music. Every session combines skill-building and creativity.
We explore rhythm, voicings, and modern pop styles. I guide students through arranging songs and adding personal flair. Lessons are hands-on, interactive, and tailored to each student’s level.
The goal is to unlock the secrets of pop piano. Students gain confidence, independence, and the ability to play and arrange songs on their own. Every lesson is practical, fun, and inspiring.
