About Elyse
I am a piano tutor with 9 years of experience and formal training in Sacred Music with a Piano and Organ emphasis. My teaching focuses on historical piano styles like ragtime, stride, and early jazz. These genres are full of life and creativity.
My lessons combine technical development with stylistic understanding. Students learn rhythm, coordination, and expression. I keep lessons simple and engaging.
I enjoy teaching both school-aged students and adults. Each lesson is tailored to the learner’s goals. Together, we build confidence and musical skill.
