About Charis
Hi!
I'm Charis, an experienced pianist and violinist of 15 and 13 years respectively. Some of my qualifications:
- I achieved the highest AMEB qualification of Licentiate Diploma (LmusA) in Piano and Violin Performance by the ages of 14 and 16 respectively
- I was accepted into the Rising Stars Open Academy Program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music at the age of 8
- I gave my first solo piano recital at the age of 10, and debuted with an orchestra performing a concerto at the Sydney Opera House at age 17
- I have toured with an orchestra globally in some of the world's most renowned venues in the UK, Germany and Austria, performing and having masterclasses with some of the world's best classical musicians
- I was the dux of my school in Music HL in the International Baccalaureate program (which includes both performance and theory components)

I have helped many students with AMEB exam preparation (up to grade 8) to achieve excellent results. I assist students with improving technical ability but also focus on helping students to develop musicality in their playing.
Length of lessons are approx. 1 hour depending on the grade/level of the student. Currently accepting students at beginner and intermediate levels (preliminary to grade 8) through online format.
