About Steve

I have been teaching AP Physics (calculus and algebra based) for most of 15 years at a large high school in Texas. I have 7 years of IB SL teaching experience. I understand how to explain abstract physics concepts.

I begin by connecting physics concepts to real world examples. I use demonstrations, and modeling of diverse practice problems. Connecting to prior learning is key. I also find where a student's point of understanding breaks down, and address the source of error.
