I hold a PhD in English Literature and have been teaching Persian (Farsi) online since 2016. With over 3,000 hours of experience on international platforms, I have guided students from many countries and continents, with diverse cultural, linguistic, and religious backgrounds. This international experience allows me to adapt my teaching style to each learner’s needs and make every lesson inclusive and effective. In addition to teaching, I have published two books of short stories specifically designed for Persian learners, providing engaging and accessible reading materials. About the lesson

Hello! I’m Ali from Iran, and I’m truly delighted to welcome you here.

I earned my PhD in English Literature from Shiraz University in 2016, and since then I’ve been teaching Persian language and literature at university as well as on international online platforms. Over the past decade, I’ve taught Persian for more than 3,000 online hours, working with students from America to Australia, Europe to Asia. Along the way, I’ve built genuine friendships—some of my students have even traveled to Iran, and meeting them in person was a magical experience.

For me, teaching a language goes far beyond grammar and vocabulary. Learning Persian means discovering a new way of seeing and feeling the world. For example, in English you might say “I miss John,” but in Persian we say “Delam barash tang shodeh”—literally, “my heart has become tight for him.” Language is emotion, culture, and poetry combined.

That’s why my approach blends conversation, literature, and culture. Persian is not just a language—it’s the living voice of Rumi, Hafez, and Saadi. Whether you’re a complete beginner learning your first “Salaam,” or an advanced student eager to explore classical poetry, I’ll guide you step by step with patience, clarity, and passion.
