About Afsaneh
Hello! I am an experienced primary school teacher from Iran with 20 years of professional teaching experience in Iranian schools. I spent 10 years teaching Year 1 in state primary schools and a further 10 years teaching in private schools across different primary year groups.
I am passionate about teaching children and helping them develop confidence in learning. I especially enjoy teaching Persian reading and writing to children in a patient, supportive and encouraging way.
Now based in Eastbourne, I would love to help Iranian and Persian-speaking children in the UK maintain and develop their Persian language skills.

I offer Persian (Farsi) lessons for children in a friendly, patient and structured learning environment. I have 20 years of professional teaching experience in Iranian schools, including 10 years teaching Year 1 in state primary schools. I specialise in teaching children the Persian alphabet, reading and writing from the beginning.
My lessons are suitable for children aged over 5, including children who speak or understand Persian at home but need support with reading and writing.
I adapt my teaching to each child’s age, level and individual needs. Lessons are engaging, step-by-step and designed to help children build confidence while enjoying learning Persian.

Franchement, si vous cherchez une prof de persan pour vos enfants, foncez les yeux fermés ! C'est une vraie pépite. Mon fiston avait du mal à accrocher et manquait beaucoup de confiance en lui, mais elle a une patience d'ange. Elle rend les cours hyper ludiques avec des jeux et des histoires, du coup il attend son cours de la semaine avec impatience ! Merci mille fois !
Honestly, if you're looking for a Persian tutor, she is an absolute legend! Her lessons are top tier and she's just brilliant with kids. She made them feel so relaxed right from day one. Honestly chuffed with their progress. 10/10 recommend!
I canna recommend this teacher enough! She’s absolutely brilliant and her Persian lessons are top tier. My wee lassie has a learning difficulty and gets proper nervous about classes, but she made her feel so comfy and right at home straight away. A massive thank you for being so patient and lovely!
