About Jing
Hi, my name is Jing, from China, studying Early Childhood Care and Education in Hobart now. I graduated from Nantong University, majoring in English teaching, and completed the Advanced diploma of Interpreting in Sydney. I had Chinese tutoring experience in Australia, and worked as an English assistant in Teaching and Researching Office of Jiangsu province for five years. Besides, I was a member of Nanjing Language Exchange and Australia-China Youth Association of Nanjing committee for around three years. We often hung out together to exchange language by different activities like playing frisbee and walking the city walls which were more efficient and interesting. Moreover, we often celebrated Chinese festivals together to know more about the culture of different countries. For example, we made tangyuan together and introduced the history of the festival to my friends in lantern festival. Also, we celebrated Australian festival together like Anzac Day, organizing a barbecue activity in a park. In brief, I know how to teach language with an efficient and fun way.

I will prepare teaching materials for the lesson, and make a teaching plan which includes teaching aims, methods, procedures, feedback and conclusion.
I am good at using dialogues about different topics and role playing to teach Chinese. For example, I have a student who has passed the HSK1 examination and hopes to improve her oral Chinese, I make up several dialogues for her further traveling to Shanghai, China. She thinks it very useful. Besides, I send sound bites to her every day about different topics by Wechat, a social application which all the Chinese people use, to increase the interaction between us.
