About Stephanie
Hi, I’m Stephanie! I began my career as a Beauty Therapy Lecturer, teaching hands-on vocational skills, and over the years I’ve expanded into Further and Higher Education, supporting students across academic and practical disciplines. I hold an MSc in Education from the University of Oxford (Distinction), an undergraduate Education degree with First Class Honours, and a PGCE in FE. I hold QTLS professional status. I now teach PGCE students and lead teacher training, combining research-informed strategies with real-world classroom experience.
I lead a UK national Top Ten EPQ programme and lead BSc (Hons) Education degrees, as well as the Nurtured mentoring programme, supporting early career teachers to build confidence and succeed. I bring this same approach to academic tutoring, helping students tackle complex projects such as EPQs, undergraduate dissertations, or PGCE/Masters assignments. I break work down into clear, manageable steps and guide students to think critically, independently, and confidently.
I have taught Education T Levels and marked exam papers for the awarding body. I also mark QTLS portfolios.
My lessons are supportive, structured, and tailored, giving students the clarity and strategies they need to succeed. I love helping learners achieve their goals and feel proud of their work and each session leaves students more capable, motivated, and confident.

I take a student-centred, supportive approach, helping learners build confidence, clarity, and independence in their academic work. Lessons are structured, practical, and tailored to each student, with a focus on organisation, critical thinking, and clear academic argumentation.
Typical lessons last 60 minutes and can be one-off or ongoing, depending on assignment deadlines. I also offer 90-minute intensive sessions for EPQ or PGCE portfolio support. I can offer ongoing teacher mentoring. All sessions are online via Zoom or Teams, giving flexibility for students across the UK.
I can give you tips on your assignment, support with reading/referencing (Harvard, APA 7th), feedback, methodology support... the list is long and I will help you get a higher grade. I will not do your work for you though, just support you to get there yourself!
My lessons are designed for EPQ students, Education undergraduates, Masters students, and trainee teachers, helping them understand not just what to do, but why it strengthens their work. Each session leaves students clear, confident, and ready to succeed.
