About Heather

In French - I have tutored online for a year. I have a DELF C1 certificate and have helped prepare students for other levels of that certification. I majored in French during my Bachelor of Arts in Languages.
In English - I have ESL teaching certifications in Ontario. I also spent a year abroad in Saudi Arabia teaching various levels of English.
In Music Theory - I have taught music in public schools and studied extensively on my own to earn certificates from the Royal Conservatory of Music.

About the lesson

Depending on the age of the student, we do a few minutes of speaking about things on the screen that we see. This is geared to the student's age and varies in complexity from simple words to full sentences.
Other sections of the lessons are filled with pronunciation practice, vocabulary, listening exercises and grammar review as needed.
More active students get a few minutes of motion activities that use French in them eg. "Simon dit"
For younger students, we try to squeeze in a game using the information we have learned to help build quicker recall.
