About Gul
I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with over four years of classroom experience, passionate about helping children feel confident and capable in their learning. I have worked across Early Years, KS1 and KS2, supporting a wide range of abilities including children with SEN and ASD.
I believe every child can succeed with the right support, patience and structure. My approach is calm, nurturing and encouraging, while maintaining high expectations to ensure real academic progress. I build strong relationships with both pupils and parents, creating a supportive environment where children feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes and grow.
Teaching is not just my profession, it is something I truly care about.

As a qualified Primary School Teacher with over 4 years of classroom experience, I provide personalised, engaging tuition for Early Years, KS1 and KS2 pupils. I specialise in English and Maths, as well as supporting children with SEN and ASD.
I focus not only on academic progress, but also on developing confidence, independence and a love of learning. My approach is nurturing but high-expectation, ensuring children feel safe, supported and challenged.
My teaching methodology is structured, personalised and evidence-informed. Every child begins with an initial assessment to identify strengths, gaps and learning behaviours. From this, I create a clear, tailored learning plan with focused objectives and measurable outcomes.
A typical 60-minute lesson includes retrieval practice to secure prior learning, explicit modelling of new concepts, guided practice with scaffolding, and independent application to build confidence and mastery. I adapt my teaching in real time to ensure understanding is secure before moving forward.
For children with SEN or ASD, I incorporate visual supports, clear routines and structured transitions to reduce anxiety and maximise engagement. My sessions are calm, purposeful and high-expectation, ensuring children feel supported while being appropriately challenged.
Parents receive regular feedback and clear next steps, so progress is transparent and collaborative.
My goal is not just short-term improvement, but long-term confidence, independence and academic resilience.
