About Laura

¡Hola! My name is Laura, and I am a native Spanish speaker with a passion for teaching and helping students succeed. I moved to the UK in 2020 to pursue my undergraduate degree in Psychology, Education, and Special Needs at Cardiff Metropolitan University, where I gained valuable insights into child development, learning styles, and tailored teaching approaches. In September 2024, I moved to London to begin my Master’s degree in Psychology of Education at UCL, further deepening my understanding of education and the diverse needs of learners. Over the years, I have gained extensive teaching experience, including working in primary schools during my undergraduate placement and leading activities in summer and Christmas camps for over four years. These experiences have allowed me to work with children in both educational and recreational environments, giving me a well-rounded perspective on how to engage students effectively. I specialise in personalised Spanish tutoring for all ages and abilities, using my background in psychology and special needs education to adapt lessons for each student’s unique requirements. Whether face-to-face or online, I strive to create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where everyone can thrive. As a native Spanish tutor, I am passionate about helping students of all ages and levels master the Spanish language. Whether you’re looking to improve conversational skills, perfect grammar, prepare for exams, or simply build confidence in Spanish, I tailor my lessons to meet your unique needs. I offer face-to-face and online lessons, providing flexibility to fit your schedule and learning style. My sessions are engaging, interactive, and designed to make learning enjoyable and effective. I incorporate a variety of resources, such as: - Activities to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. - Exam preparation. - Fun and practical exercises to strengthen your vocabulary and pronunciation. With a background in psychology, education, and child development, I have worked in primary schools, summer camps, and other educational settings both in the United Kingdom and Spain, giving me the experience to support students of all ages, including young learners. My teaching approach is supportive, patient, and focused on building confidence and a love for the Spanish language.
