About Shunsuke

My name is Shunsuke, but I normally go by Shun! I'd been living in Japan for 20 years before I came to Australia this year to go on exchange at ANU. I study at the faculty of languages and cultures at my home university, and truly excited to teach the Japanese language and culture! I've worked as a Japanese and English teacher in a tutoring college, assisting students with preparing for university entrance exams in Japan for 3 years. Can't wait to meet you in the lesson!!

About the lesson

I'm more than happy to adopt different class styles depending on your levels and purposes! A standard lesson will involve in-depth and personal teaching, with supplied worksheets or dialogue practice with me on a range of everyday conversation topics. Given that I'm a native speaker, I can modulate the complexity and length of conversations to your needs. This also lets me teach technically perfect Japanese, but also more conversational and informal japanese phrases and sayings so you sound more like a native speaker!

A lesson will normally be an hour long (but happy to tailor the duration)
