About Karuna

My journey as a teacher began in childhood, when I enthusiastically explained “very important” things to my dolls. Later, I became a social worker and drama educator, spending many years supporting children, adolescents, and adults in addressing social challenges and personal development.

After an extended break, during which I traveled to various countries, I began helping a young woman learn German. Through this experience, I discovered not only my passion for the German language, but also a deep love for teaching it. Inspired by this realization, I decided to embark on a new professional path.

I completed foundational training as a teacher of German as a Foreign Language and continued to expand my expertise through a variety of courses and professional programs. Over the years, I have developed my own teaching materials and methods, which I successfully apply in my lessons today.

For me, every lesson is a unique and rewarding experience. I am truly grateful to have found a profession that brings together creativity, connection, and lifelong learning.

About the lesson

It is my passion to guide my students through their learning journeys with warmth, care, and humor. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and drawing on the skills I have developed through more than 12 years of teaching in a wide variety of settings and at all proficiency levels.

Because I believe that a strong personal connection is essential for effective and lasting progress, I strive to create a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere in which students feel comfortable, confident, and motivated to learn German. Seeing my students grow, make progress, and achieve remarkable results is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
