About Ryan
I have fifteen years of experience playing rock, heavy metal and blues guitar, and can also teach finger style and music theory, as it relates to the guitar. I have played in several bands, and am currently playing rhythm and lead guitar in a band called Blind Aura.

I believe that the student should be able to dictate their lessons, as only they know what they want to learn. A typical class will involve both some theory, and some explanation of how the theory applies to the music that interests the student - ie. How the major scale can be used to play over a particular song.
