Meet Your French Teacher

Hello! My name is Moses, and I am a multilingual language educator, professional French interpreter, teacher, and communication specialist with many years of experience helping people connect across languages and cultures.

My journey with languages has taken me far beyond the traditional classroom. I have had the privilege of working with missionaries and international communities around the world, teaching, interpreting, translating, and helping people communicate across cultural and linguistic barriers.

Today, I also work professionally as a French interpreter in the United States, providing language services in a variety of professional environments, including legal settings, schools, businesses, social services, community organisations, and other institutions.

This experience has given me something that a textbook alone cannot provide: real-world understanding of how French is actually used by people in different situations.

A Global Language Experience

Over the years, I have worked with people from different nationalities, cultures, backgrounds, and levels of language ability.

I understand that learning French is not simply about memorising vocabulary and grammar rules. Language is communication, confidence, culture, connection, and opportunity.

My experience working with international communities and missionaries has taught me how to communicate clearly with people who have very different language backgrounds. It has also taught me how to make complicated ideas understandable and approachable.

That is exactly the kind of environment I want to create for my students.

As a professional French interpreter working in the United States, I understand many of the challenges English speakers encounter when learning French.

I can explain difficult French concepts in clear, understandable English and show you the important differences between the two languages.

Instead of simply telling you “this is the rule,” I want you to understand how French works and why native speakers communicate the way they do.

My French lessons are designed for English-speaking students from complete beginners to advanced learners who want to understand French, speak with confidence, and communicate naturally in real-life situations.

As your confidence increases, we gradually increase the amount of French used during our lessons.

My hourly fee covers personalised, one-on-one instruction tailored to your learning goals and level. I provide teaching materials such as lesson notes, exercises, vocabulary, practice activities, and other resources needed for each lesson.

There are no additional fees for standard teaching materials. If a student requests an in-person lesson at a specific location, any classroom rental or venue fee may be discussed separately and agreed upon in advance.

My goal is to keep pricing transparent and make every lesson practical, engaging, and valuable for your learning journey.
