About Makayla
I have coached friends and recommended individuals with exercise and diet. I have worked unofficially as a personal trainer for the last five years and have gained nutritional knowledge during my senior year of college. I have been told that my counsel has helped develop lasting habits. The immediate effects of a healthier diet can be experienced as increased daily energy, regulated sleep patterns, and an overall better sense of well being.

I can offer services to those who are seeking extra help in turning their eating habits around. I can formulate menus, offer counsel, and hold nutrition seminars. As a teacher my lessons are based on the teachings I learned in college with an emphasis in prenatal nutrition. As a counselor I value cognitive behavioral style therapy, meaning that changing the mind is the key to changing poor habits. As a menu planner, I will take into account body goals and activity level as well as food allergies and time availability for food preparation. Also included will be a grocery list.
