About Siya
My name is Siya and I have been lecturing mathematics, mathematical literacy and physical sciences at a college and university in the past few years. I graduated with a BSc (Mathematics and Statistics) and also BSc Hons (Mathematical Statistics). At varsity, I have done subjects related to mathematics, statistics, physics, chemistry and computer science.

When I teach I break down concepts into small and easy to understand chunks. We then build from there and gradually proceed to more complicated concepts. In this way it becomes easy to understand. I regularly check if the learner is still following the work by giving small exercises and provide feedback. I am more than willing to go back to previous work if it is not properly understood. I believe a lot in practice exercises, practice makes perfect.
I teach in English and IsiXhosa and am willing to assist anyone who needs help, regardless of their level, i.e. from primary school to university.
