About Eti
It is my passion to make a difference in how learning is taught & viewed by not only the students; but, the industry players and the governance of the learning experience itself – which is why I became a PPD facilitator & an industry trainer. I believe that my experience is well-rounded since I have had many roles with different positions, responsibilities and experience. Because of my many roles, I am able to bridge the gap between the student, lecturer, industry and policy maker for a 360-degree look into the requirements of what every player of the industry needs to be successful. I have organized many events in my capacity as a manager and as a lecturer – with a focus on the spirit of training, entrepreneurship and international industrial relations. I strongly believe in human relations through camaraderie across diversity and a learned acceptance of differences.

I am a 15-year seasoned lecturer, and have taught more than 2,000 students. I have worked in the industry, become a professional trainer and held department head positions - giving me a well-rounded approach in my teaching methods. I prefer to have 1 to 1 sessions with my students to discuss their performances - following their needs of what they require and typically, my lessons are planned according to my students' dynamics. It is almost always about attitude, teamwork & communication - because everybody is diverse, whether it be from your demographics / psychographics or your motivation for doing the work. Everybody has a different interpretation of information of what they learn and you will need to understand who your students are to ensure that both parties are able to learn from each other. Personally, I find open communication, past hour discussions (by ways of social media), small rewards (like e-cards / videos snacks / desserts), personal touches (like compliments) and 1 to 1 mentoring/coaching seem to motivate people to work better.
