About Sarah

Hi! I’m an interior designer with more than eight years of professional experience working in the architecture and design industry. I use Revit and AutoCAD as part of my everyday work and have experience taking projects from early design through detailed documentation.

One of the things I’ve learned over the years is that knowing Revit doesn’t mean knowing every tool or having every answer memorized. It means understanding how the program works, developing good workflows, and knowing how to troubleshoot when something inevitably doesn’t behave the way you expected.

That’s the approach I bring to tutoring. I especially enjoy helping interior design and architecture students, recent graduates, and designers who are newer to Revit. I can help with plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, views and sheets, annotations, documentation, model organization, AutoCAD, and general Revit troubleshooting.

I’m patient, approachable, and happy to work through a problem with you. There are no “stupid” Revit questions—sometimes the program really does make a simple task much more complicated than it needs to be!

My goal is for you to leave a session feeling more confident and, more importantly, understanding how to approach the next problem when you’re working on your own

About the lesson

I’ve spent more than eight years working professionally in interior design, using Revit and AutoCAD on real projects and real deadlines. I understand how frustrating these programs can feel when you know what you want to create but can’t figure out how to make the software cooperate.

I teach Revit from a designer’s perspective, with a focus on the tools and workflows used in everyday interior design practice. I can help you navigate and organize a model, create plans, reflected ceiling plans and elevations, set up views and sheets, annotate drawings, troubleshoot common problems, and develop documentation workflows that actually make sense.

Whether you’re a student trying to finish a project, a new designer learning Revit, or someone who simply wants to feel more confident using the program, I’ll meet you where you are. My goal is to help you understand not only how to do something, but why you’re doing it—so you become more comfortable figuring things out on your own
