Hi there, my name is Popy Dhlamini, your history tutor. My passion lies in bringing the past to life through lessons that feel interesting and relevant. My approach is student-centered: the key pointers are learning what excites the student, use that to break down tricky concepts with easy-to-follow explanations, and give you practical tips for exams and assignments.

My tutoring style is all about making history feel alive rather than a list of dates and events. My starting point is finding out what sparks the student's curiosity and then tailor each session around those interests. From there I break the material into bite-size chunks, use stories, primary source-excerpts, and quick visual aids to keep things engaging, and always check for understanding before moving on. I offer; Exam-focused lessons, concept-building sessions, and flexible formats. As somebody who obtained a distinction in history, choosing to take my lessons will be beneficial for you as a student.
