About Michele
I am a 29 year old guitarist with a long experience in the field of live music and a graduate in musicology from the University of Bologna. I took my first steps in the world of music thanks to the study of classical guitar, then continuing with electric and acoustic. For seven years I have been involved in teaching, both in the public and in the private sector, in contexts in which I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages and levels of preparation. In the last few months I have successfully experimented with the online lesson mode, adapting materials and methodology to a context that presents challenges, but at the same time unexpected opportunities to observe the study of the instrument, and of music in general, from a new perspective.

The approach I propose combines "doing" and "understanding", in line with the principle that "the best theory comes from best practice". Even the conscious listening to music, the ability to memorize and analyze a piece of music in depth, favor technical learning and the same can be said for the reverse. In particular as regards the electric guitar, I love to deepen the exploration of the sounds that can be drawn from the instrument and in particular the study of effects, increasingly an integral part of the expressive possibilities of the musician. The program is prepared following the student's interests and skills, establishing shared medium-long term goals. All the didactic material (audio, video and "paper") is provided by me. The first trial lesson is free.
